Thus, you are confident that he would be able to get things done in accordance to how you would want things to get done.

You need to have a good idea of what it is that he requires of you or if he has to hire new people to get the job done. It is going to be easier for you to get the best results from him wen you have a good notion of what it is that he actually requires.

Don't forget to ask the excel consultant about his success rate. You need to know the possibility of him resolving the issue and him failing to do so too. This way, all your expectations are properly set ahead of time.
