How Ethical Hacker Courses Keep Computer Secured

By Hansen Thompson

Do you ever want a hacking job but also want to do an honest job? You can do both at the same time by being an ethical hacker. You can learn the basics of ethical hacking by attending training at an ATC (Accredited Training Center) that offers Ethical Hacker Courses.

Project Managers Singapore: If one would like to be a good project manager he can go through a Project Management Professional Training Program or ethical hacker courses.

Ethical hacker may possibly be synonymous to computer criminal but what it actually means is simply being able to penetrate networks and computer systems for the aim of finding and fixing computer security vulnerabilities. Although ethical hacking uses the same methods of a hacker, it is rather much different in the way that unauthorized hacking or attempting to gain access to computer systems with no prior authorization from the owner is a crime in most countries, while penetration testing done by demand of the owner of the targeted system and network is not.

One may be certified as an ethical hacker. Certification is attained by taking the C/EH examination after having undergone training at an Accredited Training Center or done self-study. If a candidate self-studied, he should fill out an application and present a proof that he had two years of relevant information security work knowledge. The exam code for C/EH is 312-50. Since June 2011, the certification is in Version 7.1 however the new version V8 has just been launched. The v7 and v8 exam costs 500 US dollars and is administered through computer at an EC-Council Accredited Training Center.

The EC-Council is best recognized for its professional certifications for the Information technology security field. It offers many certifications in a variety of fields related to IT security, such as disaster recovery, secure programming, e-Business and general IT security information.

The EC-Council offers another certification recognized as Certified Network Defense Architect (C/NDA). This certification is designed for United States Government Agencies, and is offered only to members of selected agencies. Other than the title, the content of the course is exactly the same.
