Watch how much money you spend on apps. The convenience of buying apps makes it quite easy to spend a lot of money without realizing it. Therefore, you should closely watch your spending.

The iPad comes already loaded with applications you may not find useful. However, many of these can't be deleted. Make a folder to store all these useless apps out of the way. This helps keep them out of your way.

Do you hate typing on your iPad? Use the speech-to-text feature to "type" instead. Located on the keyboard is a microphone symbol. Once you have clicked on this you can simply say what you would normally type. Re-click the symbol once you are done. After the second click, you will see your dictated speech appear on the screen as text. As a final step, check for any misspellings or misunderstood words and edit the text.

Do you want the option of finding your own iPad if you have lost it? Simply enter the Settings menu and access iCloud. Add your account's Apple ID and turn on the app. If you ever have the misfortune of losing the iPad, then hop onto iCloud.com.

Did you accidentally start a noisy app? To quickly mute the iPad's volume, just hold down the volume button. If you need it often, you can set it up so your lock button can also work as a button mute the iPad.

Even if you think this is unnecessary, it is wise to add a security feature to your iPad. You might lose it and people will have access to everything from your emails to your bank information.

You might not believe that you have to do it, but giving your iPad security features is always a good idea. You may lose it and a lot of personal information is on there.

You don't have to send pictures like you used to ever again. It is not necessary to create a new email just for photo sharing. Simply open your photo album, select one, open up the settings tab and select "email photo."

Do you feel your eyes getting tired when reading books on the iPad? Simply adjust your screen brightness to address this issue. Access Brightness in the Settings, or use the slider in the iBook app to dim the level.

To access all running apps, just double-click the Home button. A bar with all your running apps will appear and you will be able to tap on the app you want to access. Doing so lets you remember which apps are currently open.

If you see that volume buttons aren't functioning, simply navigate to Settings-General-Sounds. Select Change With Buttons and it will work again. You can use the slider to change the volume, too.

The iPad should now seem like it's more useful since you've learned a few things about it here. Remember the advice you have learned here and tell others who are having trouble with their iPads. Share your knowledge with other iPad users and keep doing more research on the different features of your iPad.
